[Bathroom Reading] The End of an Era
For the last 13 years, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have run away with the AFC East. Change is in the air. Tom Brady has his head in the clouds, which is evident by him doing his game prep for the upcoming Dolphins game at the local aquarium.
Coach Philbin is excited for this season, and under the new reign of GM Skrek, has high hopes. "The great thing about a team like this is, for the most part, we're really young. We saw some great things last year and expect them to only get better this year." Little known fact about Coach Philbin: In the off-season he works for Woody Harleson as a body-double.
The Dolphins have put a lot of work in this off-season, and are hoping it shows in their season opener against the esteemed Patriots. We caught up with QB Tannehill who had this to say about their week 1 matchup: "I like not being the favorites in the division. I think it benefits us to play with a little chip on our shoulder. Not that we have anything to prove, but when we do win, the look on peoples faces and the hype surrounding the "upset" is always satisfying. We work just as hard as the other 31 teams, and as long as we stay disciplined and do our jobs, the game will take care of itself."
Looking forward to a lot of action in this week 1 statement game out of Miami. We'll see if they have what it takes to wrest away the division from one of the most successful eras of any franchise in NFL history. Personally, I doubt it, but hey, all good things must come to an end.
"Where are the Dolphins?"
