He isn't liable for the deal. He never posted agreement so it was never binding under the league's rules for trades. As a result, I don't have a clue why Ent posted approval because this trade should never have been considered valid in the eyes of the league.

Obviously it's treading thin ice morally by offering something then backing out, but that's between him and everyone else who is a member here.

I suppose people should now know to compel him to post the trade for fear of him not following through on the deal. Or simply to avoid him completely.

This is true. I assume most trades are posted in good faith, but it is a requirement that the other party publicly agree to the trade before it is binding.

I was just making it aware in case people were wondering if or when the trade would be completed.
