[League] First Season Free Agency Process?

How is the initial Seasons Free Agency Handled>

I have been in leagues where they have done a FA Draft in reverse order of the teams overall, and I have been in leagues where its first come first serve with a limit of 2 FA's per advance.

Just curious.

THE FOLLOWING CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME AND IS MERELY A ROUGH ESTIMATION OF WHAT TO EXPECT.

The 16 worst teams as determined by a panel will have from game drop to league start the opportunity to select 1 free agent, first come, first serve.

Teams fitting the mold will be sent a PM notifying them of their status.

Depending on how many responded at the end of the interim period before start and 'real start' we'd proceed from there.

If less than 3/4s acted then those who didn't act will be contacted and potentially given another 24 hour extension.

If 3/4s or more completed the signing then in 38 hours it'd become a free-for-all.

So the 16 that are chosen "select" the free agent by sending you a pm? Or by signing them in game?

When will the league be created?

Thanks Tony, Whats the plan for starting the league by the way. We it start as soon as the game drops, Wait until roster updates, a week later... Just curious what you were thinking.

We're going to start a week after the game drops.

This gives people who get the game Day 1 to get situated, allows people who for one reason or another who can't get it day 1 to get in and get situated, accounts for Europeans getting the game 3 days later than us on their 'day 1' release, and finally makes an effort to accommodate those Europeans who have their day 1 3 days later and can't pick it up Day  1.

When will the league be created?  

The person will just select in-game, sign the player, and send me a PM notifying me of having done it.

The league will be created as soon as possible on Day 1.
