1.2 Leave of Absence
When you're going away or otherwise cannot visit the league for six (6) days or more you have to let the league know by posting in the Leave of Absence sub-forum under the League Office. You must state when you are leaving and when you expect to return.

I'm going away for the weekend which last I checked is much less than 6 days, and Ent just said he can play today or tomorrow so we won't even miss our game. I'm not sure why you linked that.

It's only required to be used for that length of time correct, but that doesn't mean that it can't be used any time not exactly fitting that criteria.

I merely offered it up, with a smiley face no less, because I believe it would be nice to have a point of reference for myself and the league in general about your status on the weekend. What if we we advance early, like we just did, and someone who plays you in Week 3 asks about you? I may forget the details in those few days and as a result want to have a quick thread to consult to show myself and someone else the pertinent information. It'd be easily accessible in the forum specifically for this sort of information.

You don't have to post and I don't expect you to post, but it didn't hurt to offer the friendly suggestion that you had the option of doing so.

Alright fair enough. I didn't think it was necessary since we seemed like we could get the game in and I'll have Internet access should my next opponent need to get ahold of me, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.
